Collection No. B169.1 - a 4.09 gram fragment and hand-written label noting Charles Upham Shepard. It is unclear whether or not this is written by the hand of Shepard. CU Shepard was a Meteoriticist who amassed a large collection of meteorites during the 19 century. After his passing, the collection was deposited into the United States National Museum in 1915.
