Preserving the history of each individual meteorite specimen is every bit as important as the physical preservation of the specimen itself, as provenance is more than just origin - it is also the chain-of-custody. Within this chain can blossom extraordinary stories of an individual specimen's interaction with the people that cared for and studied it and, at least on occasion, these individual stories can be even more remarkable than the scientific fascinations that all meteorites inherently contain within. Meteorite curators and collectors have a duty - an obligation, really - to preserve the intangible as well as the tangible. It is my humble hope that, in the geologic flash of time I am accountable for The Bandli Collection, I am helping to set the best example possible. - Mike Bandli, 2009 Agen, France Allende, Mexico Albareto, Italy Almahata Sitta Appley Bridge Ash Creek, Texas Atoka, Oklahoma Barbotan, France Beaver Creek Bjurbole, Finland Bogou, B.
